Of all the things I’ve ever seen on Kickstarter the Voltera V-One PCB printer is the thing that has grabbed my attention most. I’ve been involved in small-scale PCB prototyping for a good many years and I am convinced that this is a game-changing device which will alter the way that circuits are designed across the world.
Rather unfortunately my unit arrived the day before I was due to go on holiday and since I’ve been back I’ve been preparing for a big 25th wedding anniversary party. Alas and alack, I did not have time to get Pancakebot up and running before the party but even as a giant sideboard ornament it garnered a lot of attention from guests.
There’s been quite a few of these on Kickstarter but The Easy Movie Camera Slider is the most attractively priced one I’ve seen to date. Like similar units it is mainly constructed from aluminum but this differs from other recent campaigns in that this slider is entirely manual.
